MANUAL - Jordan School District may allow a child whose district of residence is outside the state of Utah to attend a school within the District as long as the student is charged tuition for the cost of the program (Utah Code §53G-6-306). Schools shall refer all non-resident (out-of-state) students to the Planning and Enrollment department. Out-of-state tuition and a Verification of Enrollment form is required prior to enrolling at the school.
Non-resident students should receive a code of “99” in the Resident District field in Skyward Student instead of the “14” they normally receive by default. The Resident District field is in the Enrollment Information section when adding a student in Skyward, or edited in the Entry/Withdraw tab in the Skyward Student Profile screen.
